The Pensacola Chapter of the Weston A. Price Foundation is…
A group of people who appreciate nourishing foods based on the teachings of Dr. Weston A. Price and Sally Fallon’s cookbook Nourishing Traditions.
The Weston A. Price Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to restoring nutrient-dense foods to the human diet through education, research and activism.
It supports a number of movements that contribute to this objective including accurate nutrition instruction, organic and biodynamic farming, pasture-feeding of livestock, community-supported farms, honest and informative labeling, universal access to clean, certified raw milk, prepared parenting and nurturing therapies.
Dr. Price’s research demonstrated that humans achieve excellent physical form and health generation after generation only when they consume nutrient-dense whole foods and the vital fat-soluble activators found exclusively in animal fats.
Our local chapter supports WAPF’s goals by offering:
- a local resource directory to help connect people with locally-raised, nutrient-dense foods
- a community of like-minded people with social events and shared experiences educational experiences and information on traditional, nutrient-dense diets
- sharing information on finding and preparing these foods
